Whispering  Pines Village in Timberwalk is a diverse, residential community located in Ocala, Florida, an hour and a half north of Orlando and Tampa and only thirty-five miles south of Gainesville, Florida the home of the University of Florida and  the Florida Gators.
 
Whispering Pines is a small community consisting of 197 homes.  It is the home of a dynamic mix of residents from a wide array of backgrounds and customs.  The community offers a variety of amenities including nearby tennis courts, play grounds, golf as well as institutions of higher learning.  In addition, there are shopping malls, dining establishments, movie theaters and other entertainment facilities.  Also available are the renowned Silver Springs Park and Rainbow Springs State Park not very far away.
